    1. agree with you Arab Sheikh don't do women or lower rank men jobs or duties, also I doubt it is for Gerome either but that is the comment I found on this painting, After your comment I tried searching for this painting through google New feature (Search by Picture) and found that you are totally right - this painting belongs to Carl Haag and the title is "A Jerusalemite Shepherd Winding the Phylacteries for the Hand", thanks buddy, post was updated
